Whether you are in a newer or established relationship, at some point you may hear your significant other tell you they just want you to fight for them. What exactly does that mean you say? How can I fight for her when she is yelling, screaming and throwing things at me? Why would I run after her and stop her from leaving when she is acting completely insane? While these may be valid questions, if your partner is fed up and has decided to leave you does it really matter if it makes sense? If she tells you she wants a divorce, do not just agree and sign the papers! Plead with her not to leave you, tell her how much you love her and she will be more inclined to give it another try. You must step outside of your “logical thinking box” and put your pride aside. A woman needs to know that her husband, boyfriend, or partner loves her unconditionally no matter what. If she is headed for the door, it may be your last chance to express your true feelings and show her she means the world to you. Your actions and words have to be completely in sync for her to feel the things you express to her. You may say “I love you” to her quite a bit, but does it really matter if she does not feel it? Do you actually mean the words that you are saying or is it simply a routine? When is the last time you held her hand? Kissed her on the forehead? Held her in the bed at night? These are all simple, but effective ways to show her you care. Fighting for her simply means never giving up and constantly reassuring her she is the love of your life.
